About the brokerage
Bobby Wess Real Estate is a boutique firm serving Avondale Estates, Decatur and the Ponce, Memorial, Clairmont and North Druid Hills corridors of east Atlanta. A dedicated team, one standard of work, and a deliberately tight patch of the map.
Our story
Bobby Wess was first licensed in 2013 and founded Bobby Wess Real Estate in 2016, the same year he bought his first rental property. Before any of that he spent seven years managing his family’s Decatur rental business, twelve doors across southeast Atlanta, which is where he learned what a building actually costs to own rather than what it costs to buy.
The brokerage grew from there, and the agents who joined it came for the same reason clients do. Nobody here is chasing volume across six counties. We would rather know a handful of neighborhoods properly and be the people you call again in eight years.
Our mission
We are a small firm of experienced REALTORS® working a tight patch of east Atlanta, and we work the way we would want someone to work for our own family.
How we work
A 1920s Tudor in Avondale Estates does not sell like a bungalow off Oakhurst or a loft on Ponce. We price, market and negotiate to the block, not to a metro-wide average.
We position your home for its best return and handle the parts that eat your evenings.
Condo, townhouse or single family, we walk the whole way with you.
In the community
Bobby Wess Real Estate sponsors Truckin’ Tuesdays, the food truck series at Legacy Park in Decatur run by Legacy Decatur, a local 501(c)(3). It is a standing evening where neighbors eat dinner outside together, and we are glad to help keep it running.
We think that is the honest version of a community-focused brokerage. Not a slogan, but a line item and a folding table.
Certified business
Bobby Wess Real Estate is a certified member of 1% for the Planet, which commits one percent of our annual revenue to environmental nonprofits. Not a percentage of profit, and not only in the good years. It is verified annually by 1% for the Planet.
The tree canopy over these neighborhoods is a large part of why people want to live under it. Helping keep it there seems like the least a local brokerage can do.
Next step
A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Most of ours start a year or more before anybody lists a house.
